The cleaning of concrete pumping is an indispensable step. S pipe valves concrete pump basically has 3 kinds of washing methods as below.
1. directly water-jet
1) check wear condition between the cutting ring and eye board, it is the key factor of water cleaning. If the cutting ring and eye board wear not serious,the gap is less than 0.1 mm, and there is no more than 1mm groove scratch between them, then directly use water-jet.
2) after pumping concrete,then pumping mortar which water-cement ratio is 1:1.5 or 1:2, then fill distributing vavle with water, start pumping and pump concrete to pouring location, until water flows out from the pipe output terminal.If the pipeline is short and cleaning effect is good, the cleaning process has come to the end.
3) when pipe is longer or cleaning effect is not so good, then open the door of hopper,use anti pump,clean distributing vavle and hopper.
4) close discharging door, pumping water until water flows out from pipe output terminal. The advantage of water-jet is saving time;pumping is easier;cleaning is more convenient.Its disadvantages are requiring a lot of water and the process of pumping water must be continuous.
2. dismantle discharge tube
1) after pumping concrete,do anti pump 1 ~ 2 cycle, eliminate pressure in tube. During upward pumping must firstly close the valve, and prevent concrete backflow, then dismantle the discharge tube.
2) open the hopper and unload pump gate.Wash the concrete cylinder.
3) take out some concrete of the first 6B or 5B pipe mouth and stuff it with water cleaning saturating ball or bar cleaning piston.
4) close distributing unloading door, if there is globe valve then open it, pumping water until water flows out from piston pump output terminals.
The advantage of feed pipeline is clean, clean water flow can be lower, can pause. Its defect is outlet connection difficulty after opening.It cost time and effort.
3. plus piston method
1) use 10 ~ 20 cement bags,and the diameter is slightly less than conveying cylinder diameter, to make a pillar the length of which is around 400mm, with fine wire lash, and will be cleaning the ball with wire light tied at the tail, water soak pillars.
2) finish after pumping concrete against pump 1 ~ 2 cycle, eliminate duct in pressure, press a button, make concrete cylinder piston back to the last point.
3) dismantle the discharge tube, open the door, anti hopper unloading pump will distributing, clean concrete cylinder and hopper.
4) close distributing unloading door and add water to the hopper, when water reaches 2/3 height of concrete cylinder diameters, place the pillar into concrete cylinder, using a pillar, which diameter is about 30mm wooden and length is 1m, continue to add water to withstand the height of stirring shaft centerline.
5) withdraw pry bar, prompt start pumping, continuous adding water until the pillar is pumped out from pipe output terminal. The advantage of adding the piston is that pipeline is very clean, water flow can be lower, may suspend, while reducing the trouble of dismantling discharge tube and discharging tube bending. The defect is that operating demand is higher.
The 3 kinds of concrete pump water methods above have their advantages and disadvantages, the most reliable method is dismantling discharge tube, and the simplest method is adding piston, if the transportation distance is short, then water-jet is also a good choice. You should choose effectively and economy method according to the actual situation.
